The Stakes

The MAGA justices — appointed by Trump — have stolen our freedoms, from abortion to student loan relief; taken a sledgehammer to democracy, empowered dictatorship by suppressing the vote and giving Trump the protections and powers of a king. They have grabbed unprecedented power to rewrite the rules in favor of their special interest and corporate billionaire backers — all at the expense of the American people.

If Trump and JD Vance win, the Trump justices will further weaponize the Supreme Court to enact the dangerous Project 2025 agenda that Americans overwhelmingly oppose.

It’s not too late to stop the Trump Court from taking power away from the American people. The path to doing so runs through this election. The Supreme Court is on the ballot.

Who serves on the Supreme Court is not inevitable, the amount of unchecked power those justices have is not inevitable, and how our laws embrace or reject the justices’ harm is not inevitable — that’s up to the leaders we elect:

The next President could appoint 2-4 justices;
The next U.S. Senators would confirm those justices;
Both chambers of the next U.S. Congress would have the power to fix the Court;
The next state lawmakers could serve as the last line of defense against harmful rulings.

This November, we’re voting for leaders who will take advantage of these opportunities for bold action to stand up to the Trump Supreme Court and work to ensure it represents us rather than their billionaire backers.

We know the work doesn’t end on Election Day, but this election is an essential step toward the future we deserve. Once the results are tallied and balloons are cleaned up, we will demand that the leaders we elected show up for us by fixing the Supreme Court and returning power back to the people. The power for us to make our own healthcare decisions, to secure better wages and benefits at work, to put our kids through college, and to fight for big and bold progress.
